Paul Émile d'Entremont has made three documentaries with the National Film Board of Canada. Reema, There and Back (2006) received a Golden Sheaf award in the Multicultural category at the Yorkton Film Festival. Confessionals (2004), co-produced with Les Productions Phare-est, was a prizewinner at the Festival international du cinéma francophone en Acadie; while his first film, Alone Together (2000), picked up the award for best new director at the Atlantic Film Festival.
His recent work, Naufrages (2009, Productions Phare-Est), received three Gémeaux nominations, including best documentary (society), best cinematography and best original music.
Since 1995, he has worked as a news director for Radio-Canada television. In this capacity, he garnered an Atlantic Journalism award and five RTNDA (Radio and Television News Directors' Association) awards, including two on the national level.
Paul Émile d'Entremont holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Université de Moncton and a master's in philosophy from Dalhousie University.
