Charlton Mary-Lynn
Member of the NFB Board of Trustees
Ms. Charlton began her career as a reporter, editor and photographer for three newspapers in Alberta. She also worked for the CBC and the University of Regina, performing a wide range of communications-related activities. Ms. Charlton later moved to New York City where she worked as a writer for a PBS-produced documentary and on advertising campaigns for the Estée Lauder cosmetics company. In 1984, she returned to Saskatchewan to serve as a communications official for the Government of Saskatchewan.
In 1989, she established Charlton Communications. From 2000 to 2006, Ms. Charlton was a board member of the Saskatchewan Film and Video Development Corporation (SaskFilm), the province's film commission and funding agency.
