Applin Anne-Marie
Member of the NFB Board of Trustees.
Originally from Toronto, Ms. Applin is the founder and president of Applin Marketing and Communications, which specializes in strategic planning and integrated design, development and implementation. Its client list spans various industries both in Canada and abroad.
Ms. Applin is deeply committed to the arts, culture, health and education. She has been involved with the International Bach Festival in Toronto since its inception and serves as president and chair of the executive committee. She is also a member of the board of management for the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts and a director of the Arthritis and Autoimmunity Research Centre (AARC) at the University Health Network.
Having served six years on the TVOntario (OECA) board of directors, Ms. Applin now chairs its Strategic Planning and Priorities Committee. She was also president of the TVOntario Foundation. She is a past governor of the University of Toronto and has held committee posts for such organizations as the Advertising Review Board of Ontario, the Canada-China Business Council and the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation.
