Amato Adrienne
Adrienne Amato was born in Zimbabwe and immigrated to Canada in 1978. She received a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1984 and works both in psychiatry and in film.
Her 1997 film for the NFB, First Break, looks at several young adults coping with the onset of mental illness. Other film credits include Forgotten Mother (1991) and A Brief Life (1993).
