Lynch Tamara

Quebec Centre's Tamara Lynch joined the National Film Board in 1972 and began her producing career in 1986. Her more than 50 producer credits include a wide range of educational materials, documentary, multimedia and animation.

Tamara's most recent credits include the Reel Diversity Competition winner In the Shadow of Gold Mountain, uncovering stories from the last survivors of the Chinese Head Tax and Exclusion Act. She produced six films for the acclaimed Talespinners collection, featuring animated children's stories from cultural communities, as well as the award-winning NFB titles Show Girls, celebrating Montreal's Black jazz scene; A Mind of Your Own, helping kids with learning disabilities; and Apples and Oranges, raising awareness about homophobia and bullying.

Tamara's productions for children also include the Tell Me a Story series, featuring The Cremation of Sam McGee, as well as the video and interactive CD-ROM productions Has Anybody Seen My Umbrella?
