Eriksen Svend-Erik
Over the course of more than 30 years at the NFB, Pacific and Yukon Centre senior producer Svend-Erik Eriksen has been involved in over 80 films, including the acclaimed documentaries A Place Called Chiapas; Flipping the World: Drugs Through a Blue Lens; and the landmark series First Nations, The Circle Unbroken.
From 1996 to 2001, he served as executive producer of the NFB's Animation, Children, Interactive western studio, where his credits included the acclaimed shorts Fair Phyllis, Joe and Strange Invaders, an Oscar nominee.
Recent film productions include the award-winning feature doc The Magical Life of Long Tack Sam as well as the experimental abstract short Gathering Storm, the animation Engine 371 (2007) and the documentary Bevel Up - Drugs, Users and Outreach Nursing (2007).
