Regard sur le court métrage au Saguenay 2009 / Two NFB films win awards

Two of the five short films presented by the NFB during the 13th edition of the Regard sur le court métrage au Saguenay international short film festival have been singled out for awards.

► Best Screenplay Award (including $1,000 in cash from SARTEC)
 Best Canadian screenplay in French

Rosa Rosa, by Félix Dufour-Laperrière (NFB, Folimage, ARTE France, Noir sur Blanc Animation)

► National Grand Prize ($5,000 in cash from CTVglobemedia Bravo!FACT)
 Best Canadian short film in the official competition

 Rains, by David Coquard-Dassault (NFB, Folimage)

The jury was made up of Jacques Kermabon (Cannes film festival and César awards), Jean Châteauvert (director) and Pascale Bussière (actor).
