THE 7 INTERVENTIONS OF FILMMAKER-IN-RESIDENCE - part of National Media Literacy Week
Media Literacy in the Digital Age emphasizes the skills needed by youth to
navigate their digital media world. The NFB Mediatheque offers programs for
educators and students that address these, through discussion and hands-on
production.
This year, two programs suitable for educators, community leaders and enquiring
minds focus on using media for social change. Additionally, media literacy
themed films on our Digital Viewing Stations are available for FREE during National Media Literacy week.
The Seven Interventions of Filmmaker-in-Residence
This film tells the story of Katerina Cizek’s four-year stint as Filmmaker-in-Residence at Toronto’s St. Michael’s Hospital. Followed by a Q&A session with the co-director and editor, Heather Frise.
